I believe that life is improved when you live in a space that reflects who you are and how you live in it.
I have always been drawn to design and architecture, repeatedly redecorating my childhood bedroom (thanks to some pretty tolerant parents). Although I pursued a different path in college, I completed a minor in Art and post-graduate courses in Interior Design in order to feed my passion. Over the years, I have moved quite a few times. And each time, have loved the challenge of redesigning my homes and puzzling through how to fit my same furniture (both family antiques and modern additions) into new spaces, to make them feel like home. I have also enjoyed "listening" to the homes and seeing how my personal style blends with their bones; from a mid-century split level and a modern townhouse to a turn-of-the-century Victorian, each home has reflected "me" differently as the style of the house impacts my design.
With friends and family asking me to lend my eye and ideas to them, I began to see the possibility of moving this passion outside the houses in my immediate circle. I hope you will consider letting me help you curate a space that reflects who you are while honoring the bones and "life" of the home.
